Analog short doc / music video documenting the world building of burlesque, from rehearsal to center stage.
Filmed over the course of a month on four rolls of 16mm Kodak Ektachrome and Tri-X Reversal black and white film, BURLESQUE. cracks open the heart of self expression and empowerment.
This film is a labor of love, not just from the dancers and stage crew but from the making itself - shot on a Bolex and developed and edited by hand, over 50+ hours.
